Yep, Caleb and I ended up getting a puppy. It was more of an accident than anything. See, Caleb got bit by a spider or something a week or so ago, and he finally went to urgent care on Friday night because the bit was infected and he needed it to be checked out. So the doctor proscribed some antibiotics and because
Wal-Mart has them for so cheap we decided to get them there the next day on Saturday. As we were leaving, one of the workers was trying to help a lady sell the puppy's. So as we were leaving she asked if we wanted a puppy as we were walking to the car. Caleb said no, but I said, well lets go look at it. So we decided to get him because he was so darned cute. Plus he was only twenty dollars which was good because most dogs in pet stores and stuff are in the hundreds and close to a thousand. I have been wanting a dog for a while, and I had been hoping to get a pug. But this just seemed to work out perfectly. Plus, Caleb doesn't really like pugs all that much. So we brought him home, I got the number of the lady selling them and got the
vaccination papers from her. The puppy's name is Loki. Caleb came up with it. It the Norse god of
mischief. We just hope he doesn't live up to his name. He is a
chiuaua and Jack Russel mix. He is so cute and he's pretty smart for only being 9 weeks old, and he hasn't had an accident in the house yet, and hopefully never will (knocks on wood). We have him signed up for puppy training classes at
Petsmart. And he goes in for his next set of shots on the 25
th.
More good news, I got a new job at Valley First Credit Union. I start
training on Monday. I am very excited and
nervous. I hope I do well at this job.
So as you can see lots has happened since I last wrote. Caleb getting bit by a spider, getting a puppy, and me getting a new job.
But anyhow, I need to go to bed,
Caleb's birthday is tomorrow.
Here are some pictures of the new puppy. Enjoy
Erin
